A message from C2C Directors, Kathryn and Cornelia
It is our goal to create a workplace where therapists can more easily achieve balance between home, family, and work.
Our focus remains dedicated to truly understanding the goals and interests of each clinician. We make time for conversations about caseloads, career aspirations, scheduling, and opportunities for professional growth.
For example, one of our Speech-Language Pathologists expressed a strong passion for Early Intervention, serving children from birth to age two, rather than working primarily with preschool-aged children through the Committee on Preschool Special Education. As our practice evolved, we were able to pursue an Early Intervention service agreement that aligned with both her professional interests and the needs of our community. Her enthusiasm has been inspiring, and it has encouraged other clinicians to pursue the populations they feel most passionate about serving.
Over time, we have supported maternity leaves, health leaves, and the inevitable life transitions that every professional experiences. Rather than viewing these moments as inconveniences, we have come to see them as opportunities to strengthen our culture of empathy, collaboration, and mutual support.
What has emerged is more than a practice. It is a clinical community.
As we continue to grow, our goal is not simply expansion but the advancement of a model that supports women—and all clinicians—who seek meaningful work on their own terms. We do not claim to have built a perfect practice. Like any organization, we continue to learn, adapt, and improve.
What we have created, however, is something deeply meaningful: a practice rooted in our shared humanity, where exceptional clinical care, professional fulfillment, and sustainable growth are not competing priorities but complementary ones.
That is the Communicate to Connect Model.
We are so excited to work with you!
